She is dedicated to breaking down barriers for members of the Asian community in accessing mental health resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her theoretical approach is embedded in family systems with a special focus on children and adults with issues of complex trauma and depression. In addition, she is the Director of the Asian Mental Health Concentration program at William James College, the first national graduate program focusing on the mental health needs of the Asian community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"fbe\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/_1ofX8Lwobw\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She is laying the foundation for mentoring and training of future generations of mental health professionals.
