Jemma Hovhannisyan, a psychologist, provides counselling and psychosocial support within the framework of the Mental Health Awareness Initiative’s “Psychological support for forcibly displaced persons” and “Psychological support for caregivers and family members of people with mental health conditions” projects.

She is a qualified psychologist with a master’s degree and a facilitator certified by the Trauma Healing Institute.

Jemma is advancing her skills in stress management, trauma healing, PTSD, psychological assessment, and clinical psychology.

Lena Elazyan

Lena Elazyan, a psychologist, provides counselling and psychosocial support within the framework of the Mental Health Awareness Initiative’s “Psychological support for forcibly displaced persons” and “Psychological support for caregivers and family members of people with mental health conditions” projects.

She is a qualified psychologist with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Scientific thesis: “Social-psychological peculiarities of the manifestations of the ethnic identity and self-esteem of an individual”.

Lena continuously participates in professional training programs. She has 6 years of work experience, 3 of them with people with clinical and special needs, and in the field of inclusive education with teenagers and children.

Sofya Sahakyan

Sofya Sahakyan, a psychologist, provides counselling and psychosocial support within the framework of the Mental Health Awareness Initiative’s “Psychological support for forcibly displaced persons” and “Psychological support for caregivers and family members of people with mental health conditions” projects.

She is a qualified psychologist with a bachelor’s degree, currently doing a master’s degree in clinical psychology.

She has experience working with people with special needs and with teenagers and children in the field of inclusive education. Sofya also has experience in providing psychological first aid.

Mariam Gharibyan

MHAI Volunteer

Mariam Gharibyan, Mental Health Awareness Initiative’s “Psychological support for forcibly displaced persons” and “Psychological support for caregivers and family members of people with mental health conditions” projects’ officer.

She is studying economics, specializing in agricultural production economics and management, and plans to continue her education in the field of management.

Mariam has experience in entrepreneurial activities and management, she is also interested in marketing.
