The Mental Health Awareness Initiative NGO is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Yerevan Municipality to launch an Emotional Support Hotline, providing free, confidential mental health support to the public starting April 2025.
This collaboration marks a significant step in improving access to mental health services. Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the hotline will offer confidential support, evidence-based interventions, and referrals to additional resources. The service will be available via the 080 000 900 toll-free number.
Staffed by trained mental health professionals and volunteers, the hotline will provide immediate assistance to individuals experiencing psychological distress. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between institutional services and community-based support, ensuring that more people receive timely, culturally sensitive care.
By creating this essential bridge, we strive to support individuals who might otherwise fall through the cracks of traditional service models. This pilot program is designed to deliver preventative, evidence-based care aligned with the highest international standards.
The Emotional Support Hotline reflects our shared commitment with the Yerevan Municipality to address mental health needs proactively and compassionately. By improving accessibility, we hope to reduce barriers to mental health services and promote overall well-being in our community.
